Dear Prime Minister,

On behalf of the Constitutionalist Party of Iran I would like to congratulate you for the reinstatement of your leadership as the British Prime Minister. We sincerely wish you the best in your efforts for future accomplishments, both for the prosperity of the United Kingdom and for the peace seeking people around the world.

Hundreds of British/Iranians including myself opted to vote for the labour party at the general elections despite the fact that the British government’s relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran has been of a constructive nature, but mainly due to your co-operations with the United States for the aim to bring democracy to other countries where the people have been victimized by dictators and undemocratic constitutions, and also for your united efforts for the reinforcement of the policy against international terrorism.

With that in mind, we are confident that the days of the fundamentalist regime in Iran are numbered as evidence for their brutality against the Iranian people and their phenomenon contributions to international terrorism has already mounted up; and finally the deceptive behaviour of the IR’s officials over the nuclear issue is reprehensible and should indeed alert the international community of their evil and destructive nature.

Therefore, we believe that the UK’s diversity of relations with the Islamic Republic, in favour of the people of Iran and in conjunction with the US government’s support for the freedom loving Iranians who are calling, in desperation for a referendum for a regime change, under international supervision is indeed crucial and would only have reciprocal results, as unlike the regime, the main majority of the Iranian people do acknowledge the benefits of peaceful coexistence with other democratic nations.
