Dear Madam,
On behalf of the Constitutionalist Party of Iran I would like to urgently draw your attention to a grave situation facing four members of our organization who have been ordered by the Turkish authorities to leave Turkey and their deportation process has begun. This obviously is in violation of section (1) of the Article 14 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. These individuals who are currently residing in the city of Van in Turkey are:
1: Mr. seyed Ali Alemzadeh
2: Mr. Abolfazl Ajorlou
3: Mr. Mojtaba Vatan poor naderani
4: Mr. Alireza Ranjbar
These individuals have been previously detained and tortured by the Islamic Regime’s authorities prior to their escape to Turkey. I would like to assure you that these individuals’ lives would be in grave danger should they be forced out of Turkey and returned to Iran. I would like to ask you to use all means at your disposal to help these individuals remain in Turkey until we can help them go to a third country.
As you know over the past three decades countless number of Iranians unfortunately have been forced to escape their home land due to the brutal treatment they have received from the regime in Iran. Many of these Iranians, me included, have passed through Turkey on their way to other countries, and will remain for ever grateful to the people and government of Turkey for their warm hospitality. It will be a great shame should this great tradition be denied to few Iranians who truly need Turkey’s help.
Once again your Excellency, I would like to strongly urge you to ask the Turkish authorities to cancel the deportation orders for the above mentioned individuals in Turkey.
On behalf of the constitutionalist Party of Iran I would like to thank you in advance for your help in this matter.
Respectfully,
Shayan Arya
