Dear President George W. Bush,
In my capacity as the Secretary General of the Constitutionalist Party of Iran and as an ordinary Iranian, I would like to express my strongest support and most sincere gratitude for your remarks on Iran during your “State of the Union” address. Your stance against the tyranny of the terrorist regime of the Islamic Republic and your support of the Iranian people is truly inspiring and greatly appreciated.
Mr. President, I would like to strongly encourage you to continue your moral support of the Iranian people in their struggle against the terrorist regime of the Ayatollahs. Your moral support is greatly important for freedom loving people of Iran. I would also like to encourage you to use all diplomatic means at your disposal to persuade U.S. allies in general and the European countries in particular to follow your example. European countries’ support of Mr. Khatami is only going to temporarily extend the life of a dying terrorist regime and unnecessarily prolong the suffering of Iranian people.
Mr. President, I am sure Iranians will never forget the fact that America under your leadership was standing with them in their struggle for freedom and human rights. I am pleased and proud to inform you that the Constitutionalist Party of Iran (CPI) which has more than fifty chapters worldwide, in its last November general assembly in Germany, adopted a resolution that states in part that CPI considers itself a partner in America’s war on terrorism and Islamic fundamentalism .
May God bless you and may God bless the United States of America.
Sincerely yours
Foad Pashaei
Secretary General of CPI |
