The Rt. Hon. Margaret Beckett
Foreign Secretary
Foreign and Commonwealth Office
King Charles Street
London
SW1A 2AH
Dear Foreign Secretary,
Once again the Islamic Republic regime in Iran is deceiving the international community, under the name of negotiations and they continue nuclear developments whilst tactfully buying time. With due respect to the honourable Foreign Secretary and other relevant officials, it is most disappointing for the peace desiring people of the world whether to discover the naivety of the western politicians, for undermining the corrupt and deceitful capabilities of such extremists that are erupting with hatred and terror, or for endangering the global safety by making one of the biggest political mistakes in history.
It is equally regrettable that the European foreign policy holders have not yet fully acknowledged the depth of the danger and the mentality of the so called negotiators on the other side. The vital issue is to bear in mind the culture of the Islamic fundamentalism and the level of determination. Do the western politicians seriously believe that even in the unlikely event that the Islamic Republic agrees to satisfy the proposed requirements and terminate further nuclear developments, that they are really being truthful? Further negotiation and appeasements with the Islamic Republic regime will not put an end to the nuclear crises, but it will encourage the terrorist regime furthermore, to carry on with their bullying-like behaviour.
On the anniversary of London’s brutal terrorist act of July 7th, on behalf of the CPI and the peace loving people of the world, I herby urge you to take into consideration the destructive ambitions of the evil that the world is up against, and not to let negotiations of time or political deals that result in short term economical benefits jeopardise the long term security of the world.
Yours faithfully,
Haideh Tavackoli (Ms)
Member of the Central Board of the CPI
